C01S04 Marco Polo

Synopsis

When the TARDIS malfunctions on the Roof of the World in 1289, the quartet are forced to join the legendary Venetian traveller Marco Polo and his company who are on a journey to Cathay.

The Doctor's "Flying Caravan" proves to be of great interest, and Marco Polo has plans to offer it to The Mighty Kublai Khan.  However, Marco Polo is not the only person interested in the TARDIS, the Warlord Tegana also sees the advantage of owning the TARDIS.

The Doctor must repair the ship and escape before reaching Peking, or the time travellers will be doomed to remain stranded in the Thirteenth Century...
