Synopsis
The TARDIS lands in the lost city of Atlantis, where the crazed Professor Zaroff has convinced the Atlanteans that he can raise their city from beneath the sea. But the Doctor discovers the terrible truth behind Zaroff's plan - he intends to destroy the entire planet. With the doomsday clock ticking, the Doctor and his companions must battle to prevent the apocalypse...

Commentary
The official reconstruction audio may be cleaner, but visually the Loose Canon reconstruction is superior in every respect.
[2023-10-28] The animated re-release is just around the corner, both unexpected given the previous though flawed release, but appreciated none the less. I've just seen the trailer for the 60th Anniversary specials - beautiful scene with Neil Patrick Harris as the Celestial Toymaker - but oh dear, that Austrian accent has me imagining Joseph Furst playing the role with that immortal line, "Nothing in the World can stop me now!"
